Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
MyVaidya is a clinic management and patient booking platform operated by Astanga Wellness Pvt. Ltd.("MyVaidya", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyVaidya, whether you are a physician/clinic using it to manage your practice ("Physician User") or a patient booking a consultation through it ("Patient User"). By creating an account or using MyVaidya in any way, you agree to these Terms.
1. What MyVaidya is — and isn't
MyVaidya is a technology platform. We provide the software that lets independent Ayurvedic physicians and clinics manage bookings, case records, prescriptions, and patient communication, and that lets patients discover and book appointments with those physicians.
MyVaidya does not practise medicine.Each physician or clinic using the platform is an independent healthcare provider, solely and fully responsible for the medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, and clinical decisions they provide. MyVaidya does not supervise, review, or take responsibility for any physician's clinical judgment or treatment outcomes.
2. Physician accounts
Physicians register their own account and clinic on MyVaidya. By registering, you represent that:
- You are a qualified, licensed practitioner authorised to practise Ayurvedic medicine (or another declared specialty) under applicable Indian law and regulatory bodies (including AYUSH/Central Council of Indian Medicine or equivalent state authority);
- All credentials, qualifications, and clinic information you provide are accurate and current;
- You will comply with all applicable medical council regulations, telemedicine practice guidelines, and Indian law in every consultation you conduct through MyVaidya;
- You are solely responsible for the consultation fees you set, the treatment you provide, and any consent, documentation, or disclosure obligations owed to your patients.
MyVaidya does not independently verify medical credentials at the time of registration. We reserve the right to request verification, suspend, or terminate any account we reasonably believe is fraudulent, unlicensed, or in violation of these Terms.
3. Patient accounts & bookings
Patients book appointments directly with a specific physician or clinic through MyVaidya. The contract for medical services is between you and that physician/clinic — MyVaidya facilitates the booking and payment but is not a party to the treatment relationship. You agree to provide accurate personal and medical information when booking and during case documentation, since incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the safety and quality of your care.
4. Fees, payments & cancellations
Consultation fees are set independently by each physician/clinic and may vary. Payments are made directly by you to your treating clinic's own UPI ID — MyVaidya is not a party to the payment and does not collect, hold, or process any payment on the clinic's behalf. You confirm payment yourself after paying via your UPI app; MyVaidya has no way to independently verify this, and your clinic is responsible for reconciling payments against bookings. Unless a specific clinic states otherwise, the following cancellation policy applies to bookings made through MyVaidya:
- Cancelled more than 6 hours before the appointment: full amount credited to your MyVaidya wallet for a future booking (not a cash refund).
- Cancelled within 6 hours of the appointment: 50% refunded by the clinic directly to your UPI ID, the remainder forfeited.
- No-show with no cancellation: the full amount is forfeited.
5. Telemedicine consultations
Online consultations are conducted via video/audio call. Telemedicine has inherent limitations compared to an in-person visit — certain physical examinations may only be possible through self-reporting by the patient. In a medical emergency, contact local emergency services (112 in India) immediately rather than attempting to reach a physician through MyVaidya.
6. Consent to treatment
Before treatment, MyVaidya presents you with informed consent forms specific to your physician's clinic, which you must read and approve before certain actions (such as receiving a prescription or undergoing a procedure) are unlocked. Approving consent within the app constitutes your digital acknowledgement of that consent's contents.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse MyVaidya — including attempting to access another user's account or data, impersonating a licensed physician without qualification, submitting false medical or booking information, or using the platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyVaidya and Astanga Wellness Pvt. Ltd. are not liable for any medical outcome, treatment decision, or clinical judgment made by a Physician User, nor for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform itself (excluding medical treatment) is limited to the fees you paid to MyVaidya, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using MyVaidya at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of MyVaidya is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MyVaidya after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
